Albania ICT Awards- an array of seven accolades on Information and Communications Technology – is the annual event that rewards the achievements of Albanian youth, while incorporating their Balkan peers in discussion panels and other activities centering on Technology Innovation.
In this 8th edition, Albanian ICT Awards managed to feed the invisible, yet, strong silver lining that ties the Albanian youth to their technology- powered future.
For the first time in its 8-year long history, Albania ICT Awards took place after an unusual period of isolation that brought together insecurities, fears and the inner force to overpower them all.
During the first months of this Pandemic, caused by the massive global dispersion of the new coronavirus, many of us, young people especially, turned to technology as a safe haven, in an attempt to set hearts at peace and find shelter from all kinds of tormenting questions of where the modern human stands, caught up in the Freudian “uncanny valley” of Technology and Artificial Intelligence, challenging the mental capability of its own creator, and a primitive virus, shockingly limiting the most advanced being on the face of earth.
These long and trialsome months of continual effort met with the much- awaited reward in the 8th Edition of Albanian ICT Awards Gala of July, 10th.
It took these young ladies and gentlemen 5 months to materialize their expectations in this prestigious Gala that celebrates the Highest Individual Achievements.
This period of time was not marked at all by the presence of this new virus among us, instead, it was the endless human force to rise above it all that made the most powerful statement of the year and of this ICT edition.
The evening was honored by dignitaries across all areas, from politics to journalism, academia, business/ entrepreneurship etc.
Among them: Tirana mayor, mr. Erjon Veliaj, Kosovo Ambassador to Albania, mr. Nait Hasani, UK Ambassador to Albania, mr. Duncan Norman and many more.
Business sector found itself represented by the Albanian entrepreneur, mrs. Arjodita Mustali, as the CEO of Vigan Group, a marketing company, serving as a propeller of innovative and competitive ideas, relying on youth power.
Vigan Group induced energy to this accomplished evening through the presence of some of its Marketing Department members, such as ms. Erjona Kurtaj, Financial Consultant for “Bio Officina”- the organic skincare and haircare company, mr. Egzon Zeka, Graphic and Multimedia Designer, and ms. Kris Xherahu, Head of Marketing.
Vigan Group offers relentless support to youth innovation, especially in Technology, with its array of Services and productive Strategies.
The evening came to completion as all the guests and participants exchanged inspirational stories and gratefully built bridges for fruitful cooperation in the near future.
